Vancouver Parks

We love going to parks. A few weeks ago, we visited a couple of parks in Vancouver and we were so glad they were just about 10 minutes away from our place. Spending time in the park is our ideal family time. :)

we are excited when azarie will be big enough to play in the parks

Thank You, Lord for letting us spend time in the majesty of Your creation. May we be able to show Azarie how to enjoy and take care of all the things You made. Amen.

Azarie's New Toy

Last night we bought Azarie an exersaucer! I found it in Craigslist for only $40. The retail price sells for $149 so we got a great deal. Azarie doesn't stay long in it because I think she' still too tiny and  is not comfortable in it. I think she also gets frustrated because she is at that stage now where she wants to put everything in her mouth but the toys in the exersaucer are fixed.

Thank you, Lord for providing us with toys to play with. We pray that these toys will help Azarie develop better, especially to the person you want her to be. Amen..

Azarie in the Morning

Azarie usually wakes up at around 7:30 AM and as much as I would still like to sleep beyond that, I have to be awake, too or else she would be kicking me a lot. :)  I enjoy waking up early with her, though because she always gives me her big and happy smile which is brighter than the sunshine.

Thank You Lord for the Azarie's smiles :) May You bless her with happy smiles always and may she share these smiles to others. Amen.

A day at Granville

We went to Granville Island today. The weather was a bit chilly so we didn't really get to walk around the area much. Plus Farid didn't eat his lunch because he didn't like what he ordered. :(
The place was just 15 minutes from our house but with traffic and stop signs, it probably took us 30 minutes to get there. The place was also quite crowded. Of course that is what they call the city life. I actually was looking forward to going back  to our home after the trip. Even though my husband was the one driving, I felt his stress about the driving in the city.

Azarie in the crowd

Thank You God for letting us spend our weekend exploring the city and seeing the  busyness of it all. May You bless us in our city life adventures. Amen.

Rolling Over...almost

Azarie is getting stronger when it comes to rolling. I placed her on her tummy today and she just rolled over  to her back. :) A new milestone like this always delights me, although it makes me think she is growing up too fast!

Tummy time on the mat

Thank You, Lord for Azarie's active body. May You continue to bless her with good health. Amen.

Azarie at Lunch

I was gonna go back to the old pattern of my posts wherein I write the day and then the date for each entry. However , due to my long absence, when I was counting the days from January until today, I just got lost. :(
But anyway, today I wanna share how we let Azarie sit on her chair and join us during mealtimes on the dining table. She is not eating solids yet but I simply want her to get used to eating meals together as a family. As they say, a family that eats together, stays together. :) And yes, hopefully we will also pray together when Farid becomes Catholic.

Azarie might soon be ready to eat solids :)

Thank you Lord for the food on our table. I pray that these foods will nourish our bodies as well as our minds and souls. I pray for people who have nothing to eat that you may provide for them. May you make us a channel to help them, too. Amen.
